UDAN helplines for women in india is a telecentre committed to educating rural women and children. It has undertaken this venture for 4 years now.

UDAN has been established as a Non-Profit Organization, with the aim of enriching the scope of the following fields of involvement:
– Information Technology for community development
– Access to Information Technology
– UDAN aims to add immense value to these fields of involvement through a two-pronged approach – empowerment and enhancement.

While the empowerment approach is targeted at uplifting that section of the community, helplines for women in india which is inaccessible to technology. Enhancement would concentrate on implementing projects to contribute to the progress of the field itself.

Udan’s mission is to create advancements in the fields of involvement and to leverage on these advancements for the benefit of the community i.e the economically weaker section in particular, and the society in general.
