Rashtriya Garima Abhiyan

With prior involvement in ‘Maila Mukti Yatra’ where liberated women manual scavengers traveled to more than 200 districts of 21 states and reached out to more than 50,000 manual scavengers. Through the march, women leaders were able to convinced and encouraged women manual scavengers to leave the practice and it has contributed in formation of the 2013 MS act.
